It took me years to finally make this group show a reality. I titled it INTERLACE because it reflects the unity of different people.
For years, I have knocked on galleries & museums, naively thinking that by sponsoring them with the finest sketchbooks, it will be a no-brainer to hold such a show. After numerous rejections, I shelved this idea until Winnie Chan asked and suggested that I do it in their store.
I am especially grateful to all our 19 artists who took time from their busy schedule to paint and participate in INTERLACE. All of them were crucial to the success of The Perfect Sketchbook.
Last but not least, to all the backers who made The Perfect Sketchbook with us. Thank You!
