Remember watching your dad’s prized family vacation flick fifty years ago? We’d sit around in a dark room watching ourselves flitter about on the grainy screen like those fast walking actors in a 1920s film. The only sounds that of the film clicking through the projector, dad cursing when it broke or the bulb burned out, and my brother munching on popcorn. At best the event could be shared a few times with friends and relatives who lived nearby before dad’s prized film was packed away with Polaroid’s of past vacations in a cardboard box, left to fade away like fog in a graveyard.
