Republicans hated the Democrat’s $831B Recovery Act that paid for itself while preventing a depression. It paid for itself many times over with benefits across all income levels.
But they LOVE a tax bill that costs over $1.5 Trillion while transferring money from the low and middle class to the top – with a “promise” it will trickle back down.
Last time such a huge tax transfer happened was prior to the Great Depression while they controlled government for a decade. But the “promise” this time it really will trickle down? Sounds more like we should head for cover from just what will come down on our heads.
