This completely and absolutely unacceptable of the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board to do for this little boy who so clearly requires an EA for school. Education should be accessible to EVERYONE- regardless of the abilities and challenges that a child faces.
We have had a similar battle advocating and trying (unsuccessfully) to get support and services for our child with special needs. It’s completely and totally unacceptable that ONLY the parents who are relentless and deafeningly loud to upper management acquire the services their children need.
It’s challenging enough parenting a child with special needs without adding on an exhaustive battle just to have them receive a fair chance at school.
Please share this family’s post in hopes that making enough noise will get little Adam the help he needs ✌️
